BHH Program Manager

My name is Erica and I am the BHH Program Manager here at Alternative Wellness Services. I oversee the day to day operations of our BHH program and ensure that the team has what they need in order to continue to provide care to our clients that is of the highest quality. I jumped into the field at 18 years old, working in a residential setting while I attended the University of Southern Maine to obtain my bachelors degree in psychology. After graduation, I found myself working for a large organization in Southern Maine doing case management and that is where I found my calling. I went back to school and obtained my master’s degree in social work from the University of New England and graduated in 2020. From 2018 to present, I worked alongside the wonderful people at Alternative Wellness, growing from a boots-on-the ground case manager, to case management supervisor, and now BHH program manager. I feel passionately about the mission and values of Alternative Wellness Services and case management is what holds my heart in this field. My experiences in both doing the work, and also providing the clinical and programmatic support to the current staff who do the work, has been extremely fulfilling and drives me to continue to work with vulnerable populations and ensure that we are providing a unique, wraparound, and authentic experience to all of the individuals that we serve.
