Hello! My name is Melissa Klemt and I am a Licenced Master’s Social Worker (LMSW) offering mental health therapy in-person at Alternative Wellness Services in Biddeford, Maine and through telehealth services. My journey has primarily focused on supporting both youth and adults alike coping with complex emotional challenges. I use a variety of activities and approaches including narrative, CBT, ACT mindfulness, strengths based, trauma focused, and motivational interviewing to explore what holds us back from who we want to be and improve our holistic health. Clients come to me from all walks of life and often feel stuck in similar patterns that maybe have worked for them at one point or another, but now they don’t and they aren’t sure what to do to feel “unstuck”. I offer a safe place for client’s to heal and build skills to better manage the hard times with the understanding it’s okay to feel whatever you feel. We do the best we can with what we have.

I will sit alongside you in a safe environment as you process and grow into the person you want to be. I support client’s dealing with depression, anxiety, ADHD, family conflict, relationship concerns, career changes, trauma, and PTSD. You have already taken one of the hardest steps; reaching out for support. You are not alone in your struggles and you don’t have to manage on your own any longer.
