Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor with experience treating a variety of mental health, substance use, and co-occurring concerns.

Through our experiences we develop unique ways of looking at the world that can shape how we relate to others and ourselves. At the core of my therapeutic approach is the understanding that we all deserve a non-judgemental space to explore our experiences and how they may be leading to challenges in our day-to-day life.

During counseling sessions I seek to collaboratively gain a thorough understanding of one’s beliefs and how they may lead to feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or to engagement in unhealthy methods of coping, with a particular focus on traumatic events. I also take time to assess with someone their inherent strengths and explore how these can be incorporated into treatment to improve their overall mental and emotional well-being. To do this, I utilize various types of therapy aimed at developing a more clear understanding of oneself and identifying one’s unique abilities. Modalities of counseling that I use include Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT).

Additionally, I am licensed as a Certified Clinical Supervisor and engage in the supervision of other clinicians providing mental health and substance use counseling.
